It was a big yet logic decision to get married as Rick & I had been together for 20 years .....Life was ticking along great and no one was more surprised than I when Rick proposed to me one Saturday afternoon in January. I had never been married before and so 'what to do next?'
It was definitely meant to be that Marg Palmer married us, as I had only recently met Marg through a business interaction. I was doing some research into marriage celebrants and found Marg on her website and when her photo popped up I said to Rick 'I know her, have just met Marg lets contact her'. It is a big deal choosing who will marry you and we both knew this was meant to be. Marg was amazing. We met with Marg several times. Marg took the time to understand our story, where we had come from and what we wanted for our day. Marg ensured we also followed legal protocol and were totally prepared. Marg also helped us to incorporate all the nuances we wanted to bring to the day with Rick's Scottish heritage. With Marg's help our wedding day was the very best day of our lives and just how we dreamed it would be. Thank you Marg x

Marg - I have just read through Mum's ceremony twice it is beautiful, and couldn't be any more perfect for Mum than it is. Thank you for sending it through it makes me feel so very happy. I will print a couple of copies off for Judy who I know will feel the same as I do. Being able to read through it whenever we feel the need will be awesome.
How lucky we were that our Funeral Director recommended you as the celebrant for us. Yay best choice.
